Floors Before and After

First thing's first. We are in Maui. Yes, we dropped all of our stuff off in our house and flew in yesterday. It's beautiful and we're having a great time so far.

Onto our hardwood floors...they were not in good condition, so, we paid a large chunk of money to get them refinished. I thought we could do them ourselves but heard from a number of people that this is not a good idea.

Here is a before picture of a huge area where the finish had worn off and the floor was actually gray.


Don't worry, we're also going to paint the walls =)


The floors after they had been entirely sanded down. Ahhh, it was so nice seeing all that peeling, orange finish gone.


The floors after! Ahhh. Again, wish I had a better camera. I feel like colors never look accurate. But anyway, the floors look beautiful and we're really happy with them.
