anyway....josh and i got free tickets to go and see "the curious case of benjamin button" tonight in the city. i saw the preview for this movie months ago and have been so excited to see it ever since then.
not only do we get to see it for free but we get to see it a week before it comes out. but last night i was thinking about it and it really would be smarter if we stayed home and set up our apartment. i still have to do christmas shopping this week and then friday, saturday, and sunday night we'll be in pacifica with church stuff and then we leave for oregon on monday afternoon.
so, our options are, stay in and set up our apartment tonight and tomorrow night and not go to the movie (be practical adults)
or
go to the movie, set our apartment up tomorrow night and do the rest when we get home in january (be irresponsible teenie boppers)
we had kind of decided not to go to the movie but i thought i would ask you all, my faithful friends, what do you think we should do?

This coming from the "practical" one--I think you should go to the movie. The home setting up will wait and will ALWAYS be there. Besides that, you can't clean your furniture until you come home! (JK)

See the movie. After March you're going to WISH you could just up and go see a movie..
Seconded Andy's comment. Speaking from what my married with kids friends tell me movies are a rarity with newborns. Plus you get to see Brad Pitt as a tiny old man! Before anyone else!
We have seen one movie at the theater in the last 2 years since our babies were born so I would recommend seeing the movie! Like your mom said the stuff will ALWAYS be there to set up! Have fun whatever you do!
See the movie Liz. The other stuff can wait. Now is the time to be as irresponsible and fun as possible because in a few months your lives will change, not for the worst, you just won't have all the freedom you have now. See it and tell me what you think. I really really want to see it!
I think you should go to the movie. In a few months, it's not gonna happen as often as you'd like. Take advantage of the free tickets, and set the apartment up later. It'll be there waiting:)
Stay home and set up the apartment and give the tickets to us:) Ha, Just kidding, go to the movie!!! When baby gets here you won't be able to do that as much!!

Being practical is going to see a movie that is free and getting a free date night instead of paying for a date night later! Have fun!!
Im sure by now you guys have already made your decision but I'm with all the other moms and say go to the movies!!! A baby changes things for the good but it does change things. Congratulations on the baby also! its the most amazing life changing thing ever!
