Curly Sue

Does anyone remember the early 90s movie, "Curly Sue"? I LOVED that movie!! I think because I was the same age as the little girl when it came out and because we both had dark hair and she went from being a homeless child to a rich New York girl, I really related to her. Or at least I wanted to relate to her. Yeah, that's right, I wanted to be homeless.



Anyway, I went and bought it on Amazon the other day. It's a movie I have not seen since I was like 10 and I always forget about it. To go and rent it at the Blockbuster here, it would be $5. So, why not own it for $7?

But I've always loved "rags to riches" movies... Pollyanna, Funny Girl, Annie, Aladdin, Les Miserables, Little Women, Pride and Prejudice, The Devil Wears Prada. There are so many movies like that. Always predictable and I always love them.
